Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking team members to assist in backroom and unloading department processes while delivering strong customer service on the sales floor. You will participate in planning, training, and daily huddles, and coordinate task completion with leadership to meet priorities.

The role includes merchandising, security of merchandise, and supporting store management. Minimum age is 16, with an hourly rate starting at $21.85.

Qualifications

• Hourly wage starts at $21.85 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, helping with location and purchases, resolving issues.
• Coordinate task completion with Stocking Leads and Store Management Team regarding priorities.
• Maintain backroom appearance, execute merchandising changes, and assist with stocking as needed.
• Lead daily team huddles, communicate updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Ensure high-ticket items are secured, doors/lockups are secured when not in use, and complete daily audits.
• Review schedules with People Lead and monitor training opportunities.
• Support a safe, clean work environment per company policy, finalize safety logs, and ensure displays are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management.
• Assist with performance growth conversations and participate in recruiting when needed.
