Job summary

Walmart Canada in Victoria, BC is hiring a Stocking Associate to provide friendly customer service and maintain stock levels on the sales floor. The role involves stocking picks and new merchandise in a safe, clean environment, and collaborating with the team to plan tasks based on workload.

You will greet customers, help locate merchandise, ensure proper fixtures and organization, and support the Customer Availability Process.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
