Job summary

Walmart Canada in St. Catharines, ON is seeking an Associate to provide customer service and perform stocking duties in a safe, clean environment. You will stock picks and new merchandise and work as part of a team to plan tasks based on workload and store operations.

The role focuses on courteous service, accurate shelf replenishment, and contributing to the Customer Availability Process while following company policies. The starting pay is CAD 18.10 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
