Position Summary

What you’ll do

• Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
• Prepares and resets the receiving area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and move merchandise safely.
• Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support – assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization – labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment – follows company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard‑free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.

Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)

• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

• High task volume in a fast‑paced environment – manages overnight hours effectively and plans accordingly to stay energized and focused, effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift, handles a fast‑paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
• Physical Demands – performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
