Job summary

Pomeroy Lodging is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor to lead the stewarding team at our Kananaskaskis Mountain Lodge, ensuring efficient operations and safety in a mountain resort setting. You will train staff, oversee daily duties, and drive quality in all stewarding tasks.

The role is full-time (30–40 hours/week) with an hourly wage of CAD 20–22, eligible for gratuities, and potential bonuses. Join a Marriott Autograph resort in the Canadian Rockies.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Previous stewarding and night cleaning experience.
• Previous supervisory experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lodge policies are enforced and coordinate with stewarding management.
• Monitor attendants during shifts to ensure dishes are cleaned and organized properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of stewarding areas including tables, walls and machines.
• Assist in quarterly inventory of glassware, china and silverware and ensure efficiency of service area.
• Oversee start-up and shut down of machines and ensure proper plating setup and cleanliness.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for functions.
• Lead labour cost control within the stewarding department.
• Provide feedback from stewarding attendants during reviews to management.
