Job summary

Aramark is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support busy kitchen operations in Toronto. You will maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils, and help keep the dishwashing station orderly and efficient.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and a positive, service-oriented attitude toward guests and coworkers. On-site position with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation procedures understood.
• Able to follow safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment and utensils.
• Keep the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink clean and organized.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition and report issues to management.
• Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and sanitation procedures.
• Protect company assets through proper handling and security.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.34 - $19.34.
