Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Utility Worker to maintain the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and the environments we work in. You’ll join a team committed to service and safety, supporting kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

This role requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and adherence to safety procedures. A High School diploma is required, and sanitation training will be provided to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications

• Understanding of basic sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, and equipment.
• Keep dishwashing station and sinks clean and organized.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functioning; report issues to management.
• Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized


• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned


• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management


• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks


• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.


• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation


• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

• Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures


• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $20.55 - $20.55.
