Job summary

CHEO is a leading pediatric health centre in Ottawa, Ontario, dedicated to excellence in care, research, and education. The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician will rotate through MDRD and OR areas, ensuring timely decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of supplies in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

College reprocessing certificate (MDRAO & CSA) within the last 5 years (Essential).
Secondary School Diploma (Essential).
Criminal Record Check (Level 1) (Essential).
Bilingualism (French/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

Decontamination, assembly and preparation of medical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
Reprocessing of clinic and surgical flexible endoscopes.
Assembly of surgical procedure case carts and delivery/restocking of supplies.
Maintain sterile supplies and operate MDRD and OR equipment as per procedures.
