Position Summary

Are you looking for a career that combines your clinical expertise and leadership skills? Northern Health is seeking a Sterile Compounding Coordinator to join our Pharmacy department.

In accordance with Northern Health's vision and values, this position operates within the scope of practice and standards for Pharmacy Technicians as outlined by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC), along with organizational policies and standards. The Sterile Compounding Coordinator monitors and maintains pharmacy compliance with standards for compounding hazardous and non-hazardous sterile preparations. This role collaborates with Pharmacy Managers, Technician Supervisors, and other Coordinators to implement regional standards. The Coordinator provides operational support to pharmacy technician staff responsible for compounding pharmaceutical products.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00

Ksyen Regional Hospital

The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. It features 82 beds, private rooms, and services including trauma, orthopedics, pathology, radiology, and pharmacy. It is also a training site for medical students.

Terrace

Terrace offers northern living with mountains, rivers, lakes, and streams. The community has a population of approximately 12,700 and hosts schools, colleges, and a campus of UNBC. It offers outdoor activities and a short commute.
