As our secondary school enrolls more students, we are seeking to hire a STEM teacher to join our team.

The work duties include:

  1. Preparing subject material and class content according to the BC curriculum
  2. Teaching students using various methods to assist and improve their studies
  3. Assigning and correcting homework
  4. Preparing, administering, and grading tests
  5. Evaluating student progress, identifying needs, and discussing them with parents and school officials
  6. Participating in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops
  7. Advising students on course selection, vocational, and personal matters

To be considered a qualified candidate, you must:

  1. Be a certified teacher in British Columbia
  2. Understand faith integration across the curriculum
  3. Be familiar with high school STEM courses
  4. Have at least 3 years of relevant experience
  5. Be an enthusiastic and collaborative team member
  6. Preferably be a Christian

This is a permanent full-time position. The pay rate is $42 per hour plus applicable benefits. The rate may be adjusted based on experience and capability.

Working hours are 30 hours per week. The work location is 8610 Ash Street, Vancouver, BC.
