Job summary

GOUDREAU PERSONNEL BY SWINTON LTD. is recruiting for the General Labourer / Steel Packager role in Windsor East. The position is a steady day shift but the candidate must be able to work interchangeably (days & afternoons) if the company requires it (ie: vacation coverages, sick leaves, or other).

Full time position. Must be available for overtime as needed. This is a physical role and will require heavy lifting at times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing and/or production environments preferred.
• Must be eager, punctual and a team player.
• Must be able to obtain a Police Clearance if hired.

Responsibilities

• Working in the packaging/shipping department of a large Production Manufacturing facility/steel.
• Banding steel coils for shipment and ensuring proper paperwork is present.
• Wrapping skids.
• May involve operating a forklift at some point (depending on skill set).
• General clean-up of facility as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

GENERAL LABOURER / STEEL PACKAGER

Pertinent Information:

This position is a steady day shift but the candidate must be able to work interchangeably (days & afternoons) if the company requires it (ie: vacation coverages, sick leaves, or other). Full time position. Must be available for overtime as needed. Once hired, increase in hourly wage, benefits and other bonuses and monthly incentives offered.

This is a physical role and will require heavy lifting at times.

Location: Windsor East location.

Wage: $20.00/hour + discretionary monthly bonus.

• Customer willing to train the right candidate
