Job summary

Brannon Steel in Brampton is hiring to clean steel parts on the afternoon (3pm-11pm) and night (11pm-7am) shifts. No experience is required and training is provided. You will use hand and power tools, read drawings, and document quality checks while prioritizing safety.

Base pay starts at $21.45 per hour with premiums up to $4/hr at night and up to $2/hr in the afternoon. Full-time, permanent position with benefits and growth opportunities in a family-owned company.

Brannon Steel is looking for reliable people to clean steel parts at its Brampton manufacturing location on the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm) AND the night shift (11pm-7am). Start at $21.45 per hour PLUS up to $4 per hour in night shift premiums, OR up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums.

Duties

• Above all, work safely!
• Use hand and power tools to clean steel parts.
• Handle steel parts manually.
• Read part drawings and production documents.
• Check finished parts against specifications.
• Perform and document quality inspections.
• Document work completed.

• Lift up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
• Count large quantities.
• Perform basic math.
• Read, write and speak English at a basic level.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Standing and repetitive work.
• Construction, landscaping, manufacturing, or other heavy labour experience preferred.

• Shift premiums up to $4 per hour on nights and up to $2 per hour on afternoons.
• Overtime after 40 hours per week.
