Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter and Pipefitter tradespeople for a temporary one-month assignment at SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, SK, with Woodland Constructors Ltd. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and prepared for pre-employment drug testing.

The role involves interpreting drawings, cutting and fitting pipe sections, welding and testing systems, and working with heavy equipment. CSTS/SCOT, WHMIS 2015, and OSSA prerequisites are preferred, with drive-in/drive-out travel

Qualificações

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specs to determine layout requirements.
• Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors, ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape with tools.
• Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections.

Responsabilidades

• Install supports, valves, piping and control systems.
• Test system for leaks with testing equipment.
• Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings; flush system.

Jardeg is recruiting for Steamfitter /Pipefitters Journeyperson for aproxiamtely one month of work atWoodland Constructors Ltd. at the SaskPower Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, with a possibility to move to another project upon completion.

As a Journeyperson Steamfitter / Pipefitter you will:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirements;
• Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine;
• Select type and size of pipe required;
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools;
• Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system;
• HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4”-20” (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4”-24”Install supports, valves, piping and control systems;
• Test system for leaks using testing equipment;
• Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system;
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system;
• Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment.
• CSTS 2020 or SCOT
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred)
• Confined Space (OSSA Preferred)
• Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred)
