Engineering For Kids Chatham is seeking energetic, caring individuals to deliver hands-on STEAM activities for children after school and during community programs. Ideal candidates include ECEs, RECEs, Child and Youth Workers or recreation professionals with a passion for guiding curious minds.

Flexible part-time hours and paid training are offered, with opportunities for advancement as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• ECE, RECE, Child and Youth Worker, recreation background, or similar experience working with children.
• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands‑on STEAM activities for children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Supervise children and communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Assist with program setup, organization, and cleanup.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
