Job summary

Engineering For Kids Chatham is seeking energetic, caring individuals to deliver hands-on STEAM activities to children in after-school, homeschool STEAM, AI literacy, and weekend programs. Positions offer flexible part-time hours and room for growth within a rapidly expanding organization.

Applicants with ECE/RECE or related backgrounds are encouraged to apply. A current Vulnerable Sector Check is required before employment.

Qualifications

• ECE/RECE background or similar experience with children.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) required before employment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with children and hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on STEAM activities for children.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Encourage creativity, teamwork and problem-solving.
• Supervise children and communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.
• Assist with program setup, organization and cleanup.
• Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
