Job Title: STEAM Educator
Number of Hires: 2
Location: Iqaluit Makerspace, Nunavut Canada
Salary: $28/hour + Northern Allowance
Full time: 37.5 hours/week
Working alongside rural, remote, Indigenous, and other communities, Ampere delivers programs for people of all ages to cultivate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills through innovative technology, art, and play. It offers world-class Makerspaces, maker kits and activities, and works with educators to introduce children to a STEAM-based curriculum that brings learning to life.

Collaborate with the Nunavut Delivery Team STEAM Educators, Makerspace Lead, and community partners to identify programming needs and develop associated learning resources. Deliver community-centred, play-based STEAM and digital skills programming for learners of all ages in Iqaluit and surrounding communities, occasionally extending to other communities in Nunavut.
Equal consideration will be given to non-academic skills and experiences of candidates.
