Job description

Purpose of Position: To provide Support Services at the airport related to daily operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain radio communication with flight crews and ground personnel.
  2. Receive and relay data from flight crews, ramp, sales, commissary, and maintenance personnel.
  3. Plot gate assignments on the Gate Management System and coordinate aircraft towing in accordance with gating restrictions for safe movement of aircraft, personnel, and passengers.
  4. Monitor forecasts and routing changes, update arrival/departure times, and inform relevant personnel; update FIDS/FMIS screens.
  5. Investigate delays and code them appropriately in Airport Operations systems.
  6. Assist with other related duties as instructed by shift manager or supervisor.
  7. Perform duties following established policies and procedures, prioritizing safety for oneself, co-workers, and customers.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions: This role involves shift work and prolonged sitting. Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Post-secondary education is an asset.
  3. Excellent written and verbal command of English.
  4. Proficiency with multi-screen computer systems.
  5. Customer service experience preferred.
  6. Experience in the airline industry is an asset.
  7. Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress environment and multitask with good decision-making skills.
  8. Preference for candidates with a Restricted Radio License.
  9. Must obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification ID pass upon employment.
