Responsibilities
- Works with the Regional Operations Manager to set operational goals, measures, and reports results on a timely basis.
- Plans, directs, and implements station operations and administrative support to meet productivity and service goals.
- Prepares and analyzes performance reports regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgets, and forecasts. Monitors results and adjusts operations as needed.
- Ensures payroll is accurately approved and submitted promptly.
- Provides leadership, support, coaching, and direction to the team to achieve objectives.
- Offers an excellent employee experience, aligning department and individual efforts with the company's vision, mission, and culture.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures for the station.
- Monitors, coaches, develops, recognizes, evaluates, and provides feedback to direct reports, addressing performance issues and resolving problems.
- Leads the team in delivering high-quality customer service internally and externally, aiming to continuously enhance the customer experience.
- Promotes a culture prioritizing health & safety.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a fast-paced logistics environment and team management.
- Proven leadership skills to guide a team in a dynamic environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meet deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and support continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, and team building.
- A positive, professional attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
