The Role

Station Maintenance Manager

To lead a station or group of stations within the AMM accountabilities.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and lead the strategic plan for the region, identifying growth and succession planning.
  • Manage the continuous development and improvement of line maintenance practices and facilities to enhance productivity and financial performance.
  • Manage agency and third-party customer relationships.
  • Ensure BA and customer line maintenance operations comply with standards set by BA, customers, EASA, CAA, or other relevant authorities.
  • Manage station operations to meet safety, quality, operational, and financial targets, with performance reviews conducted annually.
What You’ll Bring
  • Significant experience managing an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of legal regulations and company requirements.
  • Strong business awareness and understanding of change management.
  • Leadership experience with line engineers and support staff.
  • Experience managing change within aircraft maintenance.
  • Understanding of BA’s business and operational needs.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of explaining, leading, and implementing change.
Your Experience
  • Effective communication with flight crew, cabin crew, and departments at London-Heathrow or other airline bases.
  • UK CAA or FAA A&P License (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of line maintenance experience with a proven performance record.
  • Ability to hold an airport restricted zone clearance.
