We are seeking a full-time Certified Standup Counterbalance forklift operator to join the team. This position starts out as a contract position and can lead to permanent full-time. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Standup Counterbalance Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving and shipping, stock transfer between BIN locations, and inventory count.

Tasks

  • Operating a Forklift.
  • Loading purchases to customer vehicles.
  • Unloading products from suppliers and stacking on metal cages (hand bombing).
  • Maintaining a clean work area.
  • Actively modeling positive culture, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations as per company policy.
  • Carrying out any other related duties.

Job Requirements

  • Be able to lift 70lbs, repetitively.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Stand-Up counterbalanced forklifts.
  • Experience using “Clamps” is considered an asset.
  • Must have access to a vehicle - no public buses available.
