Interior Health has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk at the Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home in Creston, BC. If you are a reliable, flexible, and motivated individual interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, apply today!

This position involves rotating shifts, including days, evenings from 05:00 to 14:24, 14:12 to 23:36, 15:36 to 23:36, 07:00 to 15:00, and 16:00 to 20:00.

What Will You Work On?
Duties

In this role, you will work in a customer-focused, team-oriented environment performing staffing, scheduling, and payroll clerical functions in a fully automated system. Typical duties include:

  • Receiving and processing requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staffing levels are maintained;
  • Allocating and calling relief staff to fill vacancies;
  • Processing on-staff payroll removal notices and change notices;
  • Reviewing and auditing timekeeping records;
  • Reviewing, calculating, and editing on-call and callback hours;
  • Data entry;
  • Reception and clerical duties.
What should your application include?
  • A 5-minute typing test (35+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months. (Non-supervised tests not accepted.)
  • Your resume outlining three years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A cover letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (e.g., days of the week).
