Job description

The Staffing Clerk is responsible for supporting scheduling services within the organization, including processes and systems related to:

  • Day-to-day operational staffing requirements and replacements
  • Vacation scheduling support
  • Staff availability management
  • The scheduling module of the Human Resource Information System
  • Associated reporting and special HR projects requiring scheduling support

Service and Assignment: Finance and Human Resources

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Shift and Hours of Work: 1.0 FTE - full-time - days, currently 07:15 - 15:30 / 08:00 - 16:15

Pay Scale: As per CUPE Collective Agreement

Specifications: Assignment and hours of work are subject to change based on operational requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Successful completion of secondary school education
  • Formal education related to administration skills and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with the public and customer service
  • Proficiency with personal computers and word processing software
  • Experience in data entry, drafting routine correspondence, creating reports using Excel, and managing calls
  • Knowledge of general office practices and filing procedures
  • Minimum six months scheduling experience in a healthcare environment

  • Understanding of Actionmarguerite’s Vision, Mission, Values, and Resident Bill of Rights
  • Familiarity with organization policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety practices
  • Knowledge of W.H.M.I.S. program

This position is designated bilingual (French/English). Employees may hold multiple positions across different Actionmarguerite facilities, with total hours not exceeding 1.0 FTE.
