Job summary

The Staffing Clerk at Bethesda Regional Health Centre reports to Human Resources and supports staffing and payroll workflows within an electronic system for assigned departments, adhering to site policies and collective agreements.

Qualifications

Position Overview

The Staffing Clerk is accountable to ensure the efficient and cost-effective staffing and payroll processeswithin an electronic program, for the assigned departments, in accordance with designated site/unit/department/program’s staffing needs, organizational policies, and applicable collective agreements.

The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.

Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with electronic employee scheduling applications.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a health care environment.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Grade twelve (12) education or equivalent.

  • Will be required to travel to other regional facilities as the position duties may require.
