Job summary

Caseware in Toronto is seeking a Staff UX Designer to tackle complex, AI-enabled product problems across audit, financial reporting, and data analytics. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering and Design to shape experiences in a cloud-based environment.

You will design AI-native interactions, mentor designers, contribute to design systems, and produce prototypes from concept to implementation using Figma Make, Claude Code and Replit.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of UX design experience in complex or data-heavy domains.
• Experience shaping product roadmaps and design strategy.
• Ability to lead studies and own research agenda.
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools, e.g. Figma Make, Claude Code, Replit.
• Ability to design AI-native interaction patterns focusing on transparency and trust.
• Proficiency with Figma and contributing to a component-based design system.
• Strong collaboration with Product and Engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of Caseware’s complex product areas across audit, reporting, and analytics.
• Design AI-native interaction patterns and predictive interfaces.
• Shape auditor journeys, not just features; ensure trustworthy UX.
• Produce working prototypes for engineering from inception to implementation.
• Lead research studies and synthesize findings with AI-assisted tooling.
• Contribute to design system and mentoring across the team.
• Lead cross-team design initiatives and ensure accessibility compliance.
