Description

The Precision Health Platform team is seeking a Senior or Director-level Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead Verily’s “comply-by-design” and “comply-at-scale” strategy across our products and services. This role will oversee the operationalization of compliance controls, ensuring that Verily meets and maintains top-tier certification standards and can easily pass internal and external audits. You’ll partner closely with Quality, Legal, Privacy, Security and product engineering teams to define, execute and continuously improve compliance programs.



Responsibilities


  • Drive the development and execution of a common controls fulfillment roadmap in partnership with cross-functional teams across the US and Canada.

  • Maintain Verily’s library of compliance controls, mapping them to regulations, standards and internal policies with clear ownership and traceability.

  • Translate compliance strategies into actionable work instructions and evidence requirements that enable “comply-by-design” for Verily products.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, prioritizing initiatives that deliver the highest impact, and communicate updates, risks and mitigation plans to senior leadership.

  • Ensure scope adherence for compliance initiatives and correct deviations through retroactive alignment to defined processes.



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or similar roles, including significant work in compliance-oriented programs.

  • Proven track record managing cross-functional programs in regulated environments, preferably in healthcare.

  • Experience participating in and successfully passing external audits.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges into actionable steps.

  • Experience leading compliance efforts for software products that process personal data, including familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, NIST 800-53.

  • Proven success in managing large, multi-stakeholder projects across engineering, legal, and quality teams.

  • Experience with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) compliance requirements.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments with both minimal and excessive process.
