Fortinet is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the FortiClient team. You will contribute to full-stack web development and manage microservices, supporting FortiClient EMS and FortiClient Cloud with cloud-native practices.

The role emphasizes ownership and collaboration in delivering scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Angular, Python, and Golang, with a solid foundation in Linux, databases, and containerized architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven full‑stack web development experience with modern frameworks.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills across Linux/Windows networks.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Familiarity with web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Experience with containers (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.

The Canada base salary range for this full‑time position is expected to be between $140,000 - $160,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
