What you`ll be doing:

• Design, build, and maintain innovative product features and solutions that scale to millions of users.
• Utilize a wide range of modern tools and technologies to solve complex challenges: Python, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Drone, Google PubSub, React/Redux, GraphQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design and other Engineering teams to define requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and align on priorities and dependencies.
• Be hands-on with the codebase and engage actively in code reviews.
• Ship code regularly—multiple times a day, enabling continuous improvement and rapid delivery of new features.
• Monitor application performance and optimize code to ensure it meets scaling, performance, and security requirements as the product grows.
• Contribute to and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and guidelines. Lead and initiate engineering improvements.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of software developers with varying experience levels, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer science or related field.
• Prior relevant development experience in a Senior capacity in an Agile environment.
• Proficient programming skills in Python/Go, Docker, Kubernetes, paired with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Prior experience and interest in coaching and mentoring fellow team members.
• Passion for continuously learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software engineering practices to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team.
• Comfortable in a UNIX / Linux environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
