GoDaddy is hiring a Staff Engineer for the Site Platform (Apex) team. You will build the merchandising backbone behind GoDaddy’s public web presence and customer shopping experience, owning services for pricing, packaging, and add-to-cart across brands.

This hands-on role requires delivering well‑factored, well‑tested code and collaborating across engineering teams to drive scalable solutions. You will lead by example, influence architecture for new features, and work with teams across GoDaddy.

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

As a Staff Engineer on the Site Platform (Apex) team, you will build the merchandising backbone behind GoDaddy’s public web presence and customer shopping experience. Apex owns the services that power product pricing, packaging, and add-to-cart experiences across GoDaddy brands, as well as the platforms that experimentation and analytics build on. Your code and solutions will be used throughout the GoDaddy engineering ecosystem and across multiple brands.

This is a hands‑on role where you will lead by example, delivering well‑factored, well‑tested, and reusable code that can adapt to changing needs. You will partner across multiple engineering teams to drive technical solutions and architecture for new and complex functions while gaining the opportunity to influence highly visible systems at scale.

Compensation

In addition to the salary range below, the role may be eligible to participate in a discretionary cash bonus scheme that pays 15% of base salary based on individual and company performance.
