Summary :

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Staff Product Designer to lead our Accounting efforts and contribute to our growing Product Design team. This role is open to candidates across North America (US and Canada excluding Quebec). If you are located near one of our hubs (Burnaby Calgary or Toronto) you will be expected to work in the office a minimum of twice per week on our designated Anchor Days.

What youll work on

Partner with Product Engineering leaders to define and execute on experience design strategy using research and insights to prioritize what matters most to customers and the business

Lead the design of endtoend user journeys from vision crafting to prototyping testing and polished execution

Shape the longterm design vision for Accounting and bring others along through storytelling alignment and collaborative thinking

Drive consistency and cohesion across the product experience by working closely with designers across Clio including our design system team.

Led by example championing highcraft design execution through thoughtful use of interaction motion and visual design

Guide other designers providing clear constructive feedback and helping raise the bar for UX / UI design craft across the team

Push our thinking and challenge assumptions with empathy insight and a bias toward action

What you bring

10 years of experience designing digital products with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to ship thoughtful elegant and impactful experiences

A track record of leading design across a product area influencing strategy and collaborating deeply with crossfunctional teams

Mastery of design craft including interaction design visual design and prototyping

Strong experience building SaaS products ideally for SMB or consumer markets

The ability to simplify and humanize complex workflows especially in the financial or accounting space

Excellent communication and storytelling skills you bring others along through clarity and inspiration

A collaborative spirit and lowego mindset you lead with curiosity facilitate sessions and elevate thinking around you

Bonus points if you have

Experience in Accounting or Fintech

The full salary range

• for this role is $145100 to $181400 to $217700 note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally benefit offerings may differ depending on the employees location.
• We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
