Nokia is seeking a Staff Process Engineer to lead assembly processes for electro-optical modules. You will apply SMT and microelectronics expertise to deliver high-volume production with reliable performance.

You will develop instructions, analyze tolerances and thermal behavior, create data-driven improvements, and collaborate with contract manufacturers worldwide to ensure scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on electro-optical modules.
• Expert-level understanding of SMT, microelectronics, and high-volume product assembly.
• Familiarity with dispensing technologies for thermal interface materials, gaskets, and epoxies.
• Strong background in mechanical design and tolerance analysis.
• Ability to perform basic thermal analysis and interpret results.
• Proficiency in data analysis and yield trend identification.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Willingness to travel internationally for manufacturing site visits.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Conduct failure analysis through tear down, cross section and x-ray.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the assembly process.
