Location : The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

Effective January 1, 2026, we are recruiting a full-time, permanent Staff Physician as an Academic Clinician with expertise in neurogastroenterology, motility, and endoscopy. The division includes 18 faculty providing clinical programs and research in one of North America's leading GI divisions.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

  • Completed training in paediatric GHN certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
  • Excellent clinical abilities in GHN, with subspecialty expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility disorders.
  • Experience in endoscopy and ability to manage manometry and other motility testing are mandatory.
  • Provide clinical care including inpatient, outpatient, motility procedures, GI endoscopy, and participate in on-call duties.
  • Engage in teaching, mentoring, and collaborative research activities.
  • Hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

Compensation and Application

Salary : $227,000-$300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, pension, and relocation support.
