Position Summary...

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations. Provides patient care tailored to each patient based on feedback received during consultations or file reviews.

What you'll do...

• Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
• Establish and develop strong working relationships with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Execute processes as per Walmart's SOPs and best practices.
• Operate pharmacy equipment (register, computer systems, etc.).
• Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times, following provincial regulations.
• Ensure patients receive all eligible services (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet their needs.
• Keep the pharmacy open and operational during posted hours.
• Assist in executing the business action plan with the Pharmacy Manager to achieve corporate goals.

Minimum Qualifications...

Age: 16 or older

License: Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CAAPA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
