Position Summary...

The Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations. Provides patient care tailored to each individual based on feedback received during patient consultations or file reviews.

What you'll do...

1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Establish and develop strong working relationships with the Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
3. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
4. Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
6. Follow Walmart's SOPs and best practices in executing pharmacy processes.
7. Operate all pharmacy equipment (registers, computer systems, etc.).
8. Protect patient privacy at all times, complying with provincial regulations.
9. Provide eligible services such as medication reviews and injections to meet patient needs.
10. Ensure the pharmacy is open and operational during posted hours.
11. Assist in executing the business plan with the Pharmacy Manager to meet corporate goals.
