Job summary

Jobtailor in Nanaimo, BC, is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations and patient care.

You will handle prescriptions, refills, and ensure accuracy, safety, and privacy, while delivering excellent customer service in a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a valid Pharmacist License and, if applicable, CA_APA Additional Prescribing Authorization.
• Age 16 or older as per job requirements.
• Familiarity with patient privacy regulations and safe prescription handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.
• Ensure excellent patient experience.
• Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times.
• Ensure the Pharmacy is open and operational during posted business hours.
