Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to meet the medication-related needs of patients in an acute care setting in Ontario. The role involves maintaining records, managing drug profiles, and educating patients, families and caregivers to maximize safety and effective medication use.

The pharmacist will supervise pharmacy technicians, oversee pharmacy operations, provide dispensary coverage, and collaborate with an inter-professional team while upholding confidentiality and strong attendance.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.Sc. Phm.) or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
• Licensed and registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Acute care hospital pharmacy experience
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and to assess situations and problems efficiently and effectively
• Individual must be highly motivated, personable, knowledgeable and possess excellent communication skills
