Staff Nurse (Windsor Dialysis) - Band 5 - (Full time post to include 5% fringe payment) An exciting opportunity has come up to work in Windsor Haemodialysis Unit, this is a 24 bedded satellite unit of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking for motivated and highly enthusiastic individuals to become part of our team.The successful candidate will undertake a programme of in-house training underpinned by continued support of both personal and professional development. The unit is open Monday to Saturday with no night duty.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder is responsible for undertaking and recording acomprehensive nursing assessment and planning, delivering, and evaluating high standards of evidenced based nursing care to a diverse group of patients.

• Is expected to deliver care without direct supervision. Is accountable for the care delivered and any omissions of care.
• Is expected to teach and supervise more junior staff, students, and the non-registered nursing workforce.
• Is accountable for care or any omissions of care that he / she delegates to others.
• Is expected to act as role model, delivering care with empathy and compassion as part of a multidisciplinary team.
