Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is looking for a Band 5 Staff Nurse for the Endoscopy Unit. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a skilled team, performing a variety of Endoscopic procedures, and maintaining high standards of care. Applicants must be Registered Nurses with valid NMC registrations and relevant experience. Training will be provided where necessary. This is a permanent role offering 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday with shifts from 8 AM to 6 PM.

Qualifications

  • Must have a live NMC UK pin.
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of Endoscopy, General Surgery, and Gastroenterology is desirable.

  • Provide high-quality care within a high-skilled team.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care using audit and risk management.
  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.

An exciting and challenging post has arisen for a Band 5 Staff Nurse within the Endoscopy Unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

This is a busy unit providing a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic and acute upper and lower Endoscopic procedures for in-patients in collaboration with the specialties of Gastroenterology, Colorectal Surgery, Upper GI surgery.

This post will offer the post holder an opportunity to work within a high skilled and motivated team delivering high quality care to their patients. The post holder will be involved in maintaining high standards of patient care using audit, risk management and evidence based practice.

Some knowledge of Endoscopy, General Surgery and Gastroenterology is desirable for this role although training will be provided. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have relevant post registration experience.
