Role Description

You will define and drive the frontend platform strategy across mobile and web, shaping scalable architecture, testing and deployment standards, and design systems. Your work will enable multiple teams, elevate engineering quality, and align frontend technologies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Android and iOS architecture and platform strategy, setting standards and patterns for mobile apps.
• Define API design and integration best practices that influence engineering-wide architecture.
• Lead the organization's GitOps (ArgoCD) and CI / CD strategy; mentor teams on deployment and DevOps culture.
• Establish and elevate code quality, testing, and security policies across frontend systems.
• Architect Next.js, React, and React Native solutions that enable scale, performance, and a unified design system.
• Champion Tailwind / CSS standards and help scale styling across teams.
• Guide technical execution across domains—Elixir, Go, backend APIs—ensuring robust system design and operational reliability (monitoring, SLOs / SLA, risk management).
• Connect technical decisions to business impact; influence cross-functional leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor senior engineers; foster engineering culture, ownership, and clarity through multi-team project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Deep expertise in iOS and Android development, API design, frontend frameworks (React / Next.js), and CSS architecture (e.g., Tailwind).
• Proven experience defining CI / CD pipelines, GitOps deployment strategies, and org-wide tooling patterns.
• Strong background in system architecture, micro frontends or monorepo scaling, distributed Go systems, and functional Elixir services.
• Track record of shaping security standards, monitoring, SLOs, observability, and operations strategy.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration—able to influence executives and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated autonomy and execution at staff or cross-team level: driving multi-team projects, building design systems, and enabling long-term frontend architecture.
