Job summary

RB Global is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the Data Engineering team in shaping the enterprise data platform. You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on scalable data products and pipelines.

You will design and optimize ETL/ELT processes, manage data models in Snowflake/BigQuery, and advance CI/CD with IaC tooling across cloud environments. Hybrid work options available with a focus on data governance and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision for the enterprise data platform.
• Lead the design of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Python, and SQL.
• Architect data models in Snowflake/BigQuery for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Standardize Snowflake semantic views for consistent metrics across BI tools.
• Own Airflow-based workflows and CI/CD with Terraform, CircleCI, Harness, GitHub Actions.
• Drive real-time streaming ingestion using Kafka and Snowpipe Streaming.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and contribute to engineering RFCs/ADR
