Job summary

Intuit in Toronto seeks a Staff Software Developer to build and maintain Canada’s leading tax products, intersecting software engineering, tax content, and quality engineering. You’ll interpret CRA and provincial tax requirements, write production-grade code in C# and Java, and own testing that keeps content accurate.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science and/or Tax or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years analyzing, interpreting, or coding tax law and compliance.
• 7+ years developing enterprise software in C# and/or Java, including OO design and web services.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and strategy for the Canada tax content domain across professional and consumer tax software.
• Lead complex, cross-team initiatives from conception to production, translating tax requirements into code.
• Own end-to-end quality: design test strategies, automate regression testing, and drive defect reduction.
