Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer 1 with a strong background in Java/Kotlin, AWS and React/Typescript to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing high-quality, innovative software solutions that align with Intuit's core values of integrity, customer obsession, courage, respect for each other, and innovation. Familiarity with GenAI is a plus.

Responsibilities

Successful delivery of high‑quality web or mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
Roughly 80‑95% hands‑on coding
Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre‑production, production, and post‑release patches
Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments

Qualifications

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications.
Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, algorithms, design patterns and their practical application.
Full‑stack software development skill set is preferred.
Experience with Java/ Kotlin (Python is a plus).
Experience in UI frameworks like React, Typescript, Redux, Backbone, Angular.
Experience in frontend software development using Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with web services (REST or SOAP).
Understanding of unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).

Helpful, can‑do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems.
Strong desire to learn and grow.
Excellent problem‑solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks.
