TrendAI, the global AI security leader and Trend Micro’s enterprise unit, seeks a Staff Software Developer to lead the development and optimization of TrendAI Vision One. You will guide technology direction, drive architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams to ensure scalable, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of software development experience with architectural design.
• Backend expertise with Go, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
• Proven ability to lead projects and make critical software engineering decisions.
• Experience designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong mentoring and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable software systems for TrendAI Vision One, aligning with business goals and performance metrics.
• Develop and implement core software components focusing on quality and scalability.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and AI-augmented work.
• Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, SRE, and other stakeholders to refine specifications into actionable plans.
• Analyze and optimize systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Oversee infrastructure as code for robust deployments.
• Lead code reviews and establish standards for quality, testing, and maintenance.
• Engage in on-call rotations to support critical system issues and ensure high availability.
• Champion AI-augmented SDLC practices across the team.
