Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience in the preparation of financial statements for owner-managed businesses
  • Experience in the preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns
  • Understanding of various software programs, including Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, Caseware, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of financial statements, corporate and personal income tax returns, GST returns, payroll for owner-managed businesses, T4s, T5s
  • Meeting deadlines as assigned by the partner or senior staff accountant
  • Other tasks as assigned
