Staff Accountant - Full time, Up to $77K, Room for growth!

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience across a variety of accounting, tax, and assurance engagements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to grow professionally, and committed to delivering high-quality client service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare personal and corporate tax returns, NTR, review, and audit engagements for profit and non-profit clients.
2. Assist with business valuations, acquisitions, and special audit reports.
3. Plan and execute engagements, monitor deadlines, and review deliverables to meet firm standards.
4. Build strong client relationships and participate in meetings, correspondence, and reporting.
5. Mentor junior staff, delegate tasks, and contribute to team development.
6. Stay current on industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office
3. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
