A boutique commercial insurer in Toronto is seeking a Staff Accountant Co-op for a 4-month contract. Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the month-end, quarter-end close processes.
  • Preparation of routine and ad-hoc journal entries.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and other general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assisting in compiling financial reporting packages.
  • Supporting various ad-hoc accounting projects.
  • Performing clerical and administrative duties to support finance function.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Assisting with the month-end, quarter-end close processes.

  • Supporting various ad-hoc accounting projects
  • Performing clerical and administrative duties to support the finance function.
