Job summary

4Sight Search Solutions, Inc. is assisting a boutique CPA firm in Milton, Ontario, in recruiting Staff Accountants - Audit. You will perform audit, review, and compilation engagements for owner-managed and not-for-profit clients, with direct interaction with client personnel and management.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, in-person in Milton, with overtime during tax season. The firm emphasizes work-life balance, professional growth, and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in accounting or business with an accounting focus.
• CPA designation or near completion is strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of public practice experience, preferably with owner‑managed clients.
• Hands‑on experience with audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and compliance standards.
• Proficiency with Caseware, QuickBooks, and/or Sage (Simply Accounting).
• Familiarity with Cantax is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete audit, review, and compilation engagements.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries and year-end entries.
• Serve as the primary contact between clients, client staff, and firm personnel.
• Prepare personal (T1) and corporate (T2) tax returns as well as charity and not-for-profit reporting requirements, where applicable.
