Responsibilities
- Performing day-to-day database administration tasks
- Review documentation and ensuring compliance with established procedures
- Arranging contact and meeting with the client to determine timing of work, expectations, issues and concerns on a case-by-case basis
- Preparing financial statements and the related T2 corporate income tax returns
- Preparing personal income tax returns and assisting with tax planning for clients on a case-by-case basis
Qualifications
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- An Accounting designation, diploma or equivalent experience
- Excellent time management skills, ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
- The capacity to work in a fast paced environment with exceptional accuracy
- Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Experience with personal and corporate income tax
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
