We are looking for candidates experienced in:

  • Preparation of Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
  • Preparation of Compilation Engagements
  • Preparation of Review Engagements
  • Planning & Execution of Audit Engagements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with partners, managers, and staff on audit, tax, and other engagements
  • Preparing Compilation Engagements, GST/HST, T1s, and T2s
  • Performing technical research and documenting advisory recommendations
  • Applying accounting and audit standards
  • Managing multiple client relationships and understanding their business needs
  • Handling full-cycle accounting functions
  • Maintaining excellent communication skills
  • Managing multiple client files simultaneously
  • Demonstrating critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Using accounting-related software effectively

Minimum requirements:

  • CPA / CA designation or CPA Student working towards it; relevant education or experience considered
  • 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience
  • Understanding of provincial and Canadian tax rules
  • Full cycle bookkeeping experience is an asset
  • Own vehicle for occasional local travel preferred
  • Availability for overtime during peak tax season
