Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and send out invoices on a timely basis
  • Review and verify revenue input forms with supporting documentation
  • Provide documentation and support to auditors as required
  • Monitor accounts receivable and work with Project Managers and Consultants to collect
  • Provide regular updates on accounts receivable status to Accounting Manager and Business Lead
  • Process bank deposits in accounting system and deposit cheques to bank accounts
  • Process service line accounts payable as required
  • Reconcile revenue with system reports and provide reports as required
  • Reconciliation for construction projects revenue and expenses
  • Review GL activity for accuracy, create accruals as required
  • Create and maintain month end working papers
  • Support preparation of timely and accurate financial reports including variance analysis.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience required; experience in Commercial Real Estate/Appraisal and Valuation industry considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organization, communication, proofreading and editing skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
  • Must be proactive with a keen sense of urgency
