Job summary

Baker Tilly Canada in Emerald Park, SK is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. You will prepare accounting records and financial statements while supporting personal and corporate tax returns.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team on audits and client advisory, with a schedule Monday to Friday and growth opportunities within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting (Diploma or Degree).
• At least 1 year of Canadian public practice experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, QuickBooks Online, Taxprep, and Caseware preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to exercise logic and sound judgement regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
• Strong understanding of a client-focused environment and meeting client expectations.

Your schedule:

Monday to Friday

• Jan-June: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hr lunch) (40 hrs per week)
• July-Aug: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hr lunch); (35 hrs per week)
• Sept-Dec: 8:00am-4:30pm (1 hr lunch); (37.5 hrs per week)

Salary range:
